Eddie Chen, born in 2013, began studying piano at the age of five. At age ten, he was accepted into The Phil and Eli Taylor Performance Academy for Young Artists at The Royal Conservatory of Music, where he studies under the guidance of Mr. Li Wang.

Eddie has won top prizes in several competitions, including First Prize at the Unionville Music Competition and the North York Music Festival. At the CCC Toronto International Music Festival (2023), he received the Grand Trophy, Beethoven Trophy, and Young Artist Trophy.

Outside of piano, Eddie enjoys playing badminton, solving the Rubik’s Cube, and folding origami.
