Clara Wang

Clara Wang is a 13-year old flutist and currently studies with Annie Lu. She is a student at the University of Toronto Schools. Clara has attended various local music competitions and OMFA for the past three years. She has performed at various venues, playing Carl Stamitz's Flute Concerto with the Chinese Artists Society of Toronto at 11 years old. Clara made her Carnegie Hall debut at Crescendo International Music Competition with Quantz Flute Concerto in 2024. Clara also plays piano and bassoon. Clara enjoys playing with ensembles and was the youngest member of the Toronto Youth Wind Orchestra in its 2024-2025 season and a member of the TYWO Symphonic Winds in 2023-2024. In 2022-2023, Clara served as the principal flute of the Chinese Artists Society of Toronto Youth Orchestra. Aside from flute, Clara enjoys sports like rhythmic gymnastics and badminton and creates digital art.
